Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant.

This combination medication is used to treat a cough associated with the common cold, allergies and other respiratory illnesses.

HOW TO USE: Take this medication as prescriebd. Be sure to follow instructions closley.

Do not increase your dose or take this more often than directed. Cpasules and long-acting tablets must be swallowed whole with a full glass of water.
Do not crush or chew them. The long action will be destroyed and the chance of side effects will be increased.

SIDE EFFECTS: Headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medciation. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor.
Notfiy your doctor if you develop any of these effects while taking this medication: skin rash, trouble breathing.

Use caution driving or operating machinery if this medication makes you believe dizzy.
